Personal or Public?

I love blogging and have never find it a chore. I simply love the way the author of the blog communicates with people who frequent the blog. However, recently i started to feel rather restricted by what i should blog and what i should refrain from doing so. Things like posting something about someone else, can be sensitive to others too isnt it? Being positioned in the world of internet, we are actually talking to the public as we never knew who will pass by your blog one day. Can you imagine you've blogged something normal and happy yet it can be wound rubbing to another person? More strange enough when the person is no longer, ahems, not exactly close to you.

But come to think about it, why should i bother? Its afterall my freedom of speech in my own boundary.

"I need no warrant for being, and no word of sanction upon my being. I am the warrant and the sanction." -Ayn Rand

Should i learn to be more individualistic? Maybe.

Secret Project

I am going to embark this secret project... but from the tight schedules and the never ending assignments, i am going to put on halt till December. Can't wait. Hope by then i'll still remember this.

Excited? Yes, Yes. why not?

Letting Go

Just shifted my desktop over to parents' room. Thus, i did some disk cleaning. Was transferring all the photos into my external HDD. I used to keep almost everything,a typical rubbish collector. Recently i feel that there are alot of things we should let go - things that are meaningless to us now. The function [Delete] is so useful in cameras, keyboard, handphone, or any other devices that require memory space. Too congested mind is suffocating. I deleted some unwanted photos and threw away some useless things and tore away some unrelated stuffs. More to go, more to clear during my reading week, including assignments.

Not seeing something makes you forget about the existence isnt it?
Sometimes we keep things without knowing which secret place we've hidden it.
Sometimes we keep things to realise that its redundant.

Really better to throw? Maybe.

Weekly Ography

I have yet to explain y i used Ography as a suffix to my name.
Here goes:

-ography = writing/ description.

I thought my blogging would be sort of a biography + photography. Therefore i derived at Gina-Ography, my way to express my thoughts through writing and description. The capturing of moments in life.

Anyway then, a weekly ography will be updated to show the things i see, do, feel within that particular week. (Sat - Fri)

Weekly Ography 1

Web Conferencing is Fun!

I do not have an in-built webcam...but i do have a in-built mic in my lappy.
Still.... its fun watching other people's behaviour via webcam!
Wonders of internet, really.
Its entertaining to be able to chat with a friend that is in a far away land using web conferencing.

(*There is no 见不得人 photos, so i think the person featured in this whole series wont disapprove me of putting it up.Hahaha....)

Picture 5. He is still trying to smack me with the slippers through the web cam. Big bully. =(

(actually i did thought of making these 11 pictures into story... but better not lar, if not mr lizard man will turn ms orange-gina into orange squash.)

The pictures alone is enough to blackmail him in the future. Muahahaha

Having fun?Definitely

Sometimes, I wonder why ...

I am in the midst of my busy moments. It starts me thinking about alot of things while i'm trying to clear my assignments one by one. Sometimes I really wonder why this and why that. Cant help but start to make comparison of all sorts. Hmmmmm

W-H-Y. Sometimes i wonder...

Stress out? Maybe.

-Nervous Not-

Just had my math pedagogical presentation this morning.
As I'm quite a prefectionist @ work, I will normally spend alot of time on the thinking process.
The problem doesnt lie with preparation or research on the topic.
The stress is more on the relevance and how we do it.
I planned to every detail. I planned extra-activities. I planned by flow. I planned my talk.
Although I only started everything last night, I did put in my fullest effort.
The higher the expectation that I set for myself, the more I will feel nervous over it.

Great to have a bunch of nice coursemates that 'Jia-you-ed' for me before I start my 15 mins of "teaching". It helped, definitely.

The most common feedback i've gotten :
very confident

Confident? Really? Maybe. (with the nervous element hiding within.)

Conclusion: Once we've everything ready and think that we had tried to our very best, dont be nervous. Just do what you need to do. Dont show others what we cant do.

Anyway, there are always people out there to help you

Eh..

or at least, not to kill you.

Mission Impossible...(*almost)

I underestimate the requirements of my assignment.
I should have started planning and thinking it through.
I almost turned this into mission impossible.
I seriously overestimate my capability.

24 hrs assignment marathon.
It has been a long time since i rushed through my assignment without sleeping.

Being complacent? Maybe.

Fresh Start

There are many pitstops in our life.
There are times whereby we move on from one phrase to another in life.
There are moments which we want to forget where the good ones stay.
There are occasions when we need to make decisions.
There are days which we reflect upon our life.
I guess its time to move on.

A fresh start.
