There is a disadvantage of using snail mails to keep in contact.
Recently i just received a letter from my ex-student. Used to teach her in P1, next year she's going to P3. She wrote to me to tell me about her results. She was a little disappointed that she had only gotten 6th place in class. I feel that she has done pretty well. She managed to get into the best P3 class. Happy for her =)
How i wish i could reply her mail but she did not leave down her return address. Maybe the next time she sent me a letter, she'll rem to write down return address... Or maybe she'll stop sending me letters.
I miss them.
Thats what teaching is all about.
